  • EHS Risk Register Legal Review and Compliance 
    Conducted a comprehensive legal review of the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Risk Register for a multi-billion-dollar international company to ensure full compliance with Omani environmental, health, and safety regulations. The review involved assessing gaps in their compliance framework and updating risk controls across operations, with a focus on adherence to regulations set by key authorities, including the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSPR), the Environmental Authority (EA), the Ministry of Labour (MoL), and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). This process also provided actionable recommendations and necessary amendments, enhancing the company’s overall compliance, operational effectiveness, and alignment with industry best practices. 

  • HR Policy and Staffing Compliance with Omani Labour Law
    Advised an educational institution in Oman on aligning its HR policies and academic staffing procedures with the provisions of Royal Decree 53/2023, issuing the Labour Law. Our review encompassed the HR manual, faculty contracts, working hours, leave entitlements, and end-of-service benefits. We also assessed compliance with regulations governing part-time and expatriate employment, ensuring the lawful engagement of both academic and administrative staff, in full alignment with the Ministry of Labour’s requirements.

  • Initial Compliance Advice on Personal Data Protection
    Provided initial advice to a leading digital solution provider on conducting a gap analysis and developing a compliance roadmap in line with Royal Decree 6/2022, which promulgates the Personal Data Protection Law issued by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT)
